Sophos Selected as Finalist in Five 2013 SC Magazine Awards Categories

Sophos has been selected as a Reader Trust Award finalist in four categories and an Excellence Award finalist in the Best Security Company category for the 2013 SC Awards, to be held in conjunction with RSA 2013.

Sophos was named a finalist in the following Reader Trust Award categories:

  • Best Cloud Computing for Sophos SafeGuard 6, which protects critical data in public, private and hybrid cloud environments
  • Best Mobile/Device Security for Sophos Mobile Control 2.5, its award-winning mobile device management (MDM) solution
  • Best UTM for Sophos UTM 9, the first UTM specifically designed to integrate gateway security and endpoint security in a single hardware or virtual box
  • Best SME Solution for Sophos UTM 9

The Sophos solutions were selected from hundreds of entries submitted across 34 technology categories. Winners will be selected by a panel of judges representing a cross-section of SC Magazine readership comprised of large, medium and small enterprises from all major vertical markets, including financial services, health care, government, retail, education and other sectors.
